Evs 47 Mobility concept Bad Hindelang - Tannheimer Tal - Pfronten

The aim is to develop the basis for a major Interreg project in the programme period 2021-2027, so that long-term cross-border cooperation can grow here.
can grow.

The Bad Hindelang / Tannheimer Tal / Pfronten area is a touristically attractive and highly frequented interlinked area that suffers from a very high traffic load, especially from motorised private transport (MIV). The aim of the project is to significantly improve climate-friendly mobility in the border area Bad Hindelang - Tannheimer Tal - Pfronten and thus to achieve a reduction in private motorised transport. The basis for this is a cross-border mobility concept that shows what can/must be implemented in the short, medium and long term as well as locally, regionally and/or supra-regionally. The focus is on identifying concrete service options and their feasibility (operator models, costs and financing, implementation, etc). The project is to be implemented by an external specialist planner who will draw up the cross-border mobility concept by means of desk research, participation workshops and intensive coordination with the regional stakeholders. A close exchange with the Interreg project "AB266 Attractivisation of the regional railways" is also intended.
