Toboggan

Toboggan runs in the Tannheimer Tal

A lot of fun for the offspring

Bored kids on vacation? Not in the Tannheimer valley. The high valley in the north of Tyrol is a true family paradise. The winter holidays are particularly successful when parents and children have fun together. And they can do that particularly well in the Tannheimer Tal, for example on a fun toboggan run.

There are eight toboggan runs in the Tyrolean high valley. Most of them are rather short and cosy and are ideal for beginners.

Rodeln im Tannheimer Tal

The toboggan runs near Schattwald and in the "Ice Age" children's area are recommended for beginners and very young guests. The longest toboggan run in the Tannheimer Tal, 3,6 kilometres long, awaits courageous riders and fast toboggans in Nesselwängle. The chairlift takes you up to the Krinnenalpe mountain station. From there the descent starts, which challenges the riders and their skills with many curves. The toboggan run from Berggasthof Adlerhorst to Haller offers an entertaining 3.1 kilometre descent. The motto here is to hike up comfortably and quickly back down into the valley. The toboggan run in Haldensee is open daily until 10 p.m. under escape light.
