Parking information

Parking in the Tannheimer Tal

Every town in the valley has sufficient public parking spaces, which are mainly located near the mountain railways. Parking spaces are subject to a fee.

Public parking spaces are marked on the town maps:
Jungholz
Schattwald
Zöblen
Tannheim
Grän-Haldensee
Nesselwängle

As a general rule, it is not permitted to park vehicles of any kind along or off roads (fields)! This may result in penalties, so we ask you to use the designated parking spaces. In winter, there is a general ban on overnight parking in all parking spaces due to snow clearance!

Depending on the parking management system, fees vary between € 1.00 and € 8.00.

The daily parking ticket at the Schmieden car park costs € 7.00 and € 8.00 at the Vilsalpsee lake near Café Bistro Haubentaucher.

The Tannheimer Tal Ticket (valid for 24 hours) for € 5.00 is valid at the following parking lots. The ticket can only be purchased via the Parkster app (it is designated as a long-term parking ticket)! It is possible to change parking lots in the valley on the day of purchase within the specified parking lots:

  • Schattwald
    Parking lot Wannenjochbahn
  • Zöblen
    Parking lot Rohnenlift
  • Tannheim
    Parking lot P1 - P4
  • Grän

    Parking lot Krinnenalplift
  • Jungholz
all public parking spaces in the municipal area

In winter, there is a general ban on overnight parking in all parking lots due to snow removal!

  • Multi-day parking is no problem in designated parking spaces. Please note the regulations and prices displayed on site! You simply multiply the desired parking duration by the daily ticket price. For example: The daily ticket costs € 5.00 and you want to park for 3 days. The ticket price is therefore € 15.00.

  • An annual ticket can be generated online via the Parkster app.

  • You can pay at the parking ticket machine with coins (no change machine) and, in some cases, cashless. At the lift parking lots in Tannheim, Schattwald, Zöblen, and Grän, you can purchase a maximum of a 3-day ticket at the machine. If you want to park for more than 3 days, please contact the respective lift ticket office.
  • Cashier with coins (no change machine)
