The Tannheimer Tal is Austria's most beautiful hiking region

They clearly chose the Tannheimer Tal as the most beautiful hiking region in Austria. Above all, the versatility of the offer was praised. With a very impressive result the Tannheimer Tal won the title "Austria's most beautiful hiking region 2019". Of the 7577 readers of the German hiking magazine who voted for it, an impressive 71.45 percent voted for the idyllic valley in northern Tyrol. A total of 18 regions applied for this title.
The Tannheimer Tal convinces with versatility. This is especially evident in the hiking offer: Given 300 kilometers of trails and varied tours on three levels, everyone will find the right tour. The varied leisure offer promises plenty of adventures for everyone. The Tyrolean high valley has been one of the top destinations for racing cyclists in the Alps and Prealps for several years. Events such as the traditional "Herz-Jesu-Feuer" in June, the "Talfeiertag" on 17 September or the "Almabtriebe" grant the holidaymakers very special insights into the alpine way of life.
