Summer mountain railways
Mountain lifts in the Tannheimer Tal
Climbing to the top and then enjoying the view from the very top - that's a treat. To get to this experience, you first have to master the arduous ascent... or simply get on one of the mountain railroads in the Tannheimer Tal. Once you have reached the top, kilometers of hiking trails and countless Hütten und Almen on a visit. An 8-seater gondola lift starts in Tannheim and Grän, and chairlift in Schattwald.
