Boder crossers (Grenzgänger)

You can enter the Grenzgänger Route from Schattwald or from the Vilsalpsee. It leads from the Tannheim Valley via the Hinterstein Valley into the Lech Valley and back through the Allgäu Alps nature reserve. It measures around 80 kilometers in total and overcomes a good 6,000 meters in altitude. There is room for overnight stays in the huts high on the mountain. Those who like it a bit more comfortable or want to cover the trail in stages can also return to the respective valley.
