Description:
Experience the Running and Nordic Walking Arena Tannheimer Tal
Whether breathless beginner or well-trained mountaineer: In the Tannheimer Tal everyone who wants to move in the fresh air and explore the surrounding mountains on foot gets their money's worth. Every active person, from hobby sportsmen to professionals, has a hard choice every day: Tyrol’s largest network of trails offers 26 marked routes extending over a total of 186 kilometers. Beginner loops are included as well as challenging mountain runs. And so that all guests know which path suits their fitness and requirements, a specially designed map and small signs provide information about the elevation profile, difficulty, and length of the route – the Running and Nordic Walking map.
Along meadows, over green alpine pastures, by sparkling mountain lakes... Walking and running in the Tannheimer Tal is not only the best training for the body but above all balm for the soul. The starting points for all movement enthusiasts are located in the six villages of Tannheim, Grän-Haldensee, Nesselwängle-Haller, Zöblen, Schattwald and Jungholz.

Directions:

Head north past the sports center and along the main road by the brook to the Sulzbach fork. Continue west to Haller and above Lake Haldensee parallel to the federal road. At the Haldensee fork keep left and cross the federal road at the pedestrian crossing. Pass the beach and at the bridge keep left along the southern shore of Lake Haldensee back to the starting point.

Tip:

Banks on the shore of Lake Haldensee invite you to linger.

Safety guidelines:

It should be noted that running and walking sports involve a risk of accidents and injuries. Despite careful route planning, a basic risk always remains. Preparation through endurance training, appropriate technical training and education as well as personal caution reduce the risk of accidents and dangers.

Equipment:

Personal equipment must be safe and usable and comply with the applicable technical standards. Everyone is advised to inform themselves about the planned routes in specialist literature or on site. Complete equipment is absolutely recommended even for experienced users!
