Experience the Running and Nordic Walking Arena Tannheimer Tal
Whether you are an out-of-breath beginner or a well-trained mountain athlete: in the Tannheimer Tal everyone gets their money's worth who wants to be active in the fresh air and explore the surrounding
mountains on foot. Every active person, from hobby athlete to professional, faces a daily choice: The largest network of trails in Tyrol offers 26
marked routes covering a total of 186 kilometres. There are beginner loops as well as demanding mountain runs. And so that all guests
know which route suits their fitness and demands, a specially designed map and small signs provide information about elevation profile,
level of difficulty and length of the route - the Running and Nordic Walking map.
Along meadows, over green alpine pastures, past sparkling mountain lakes... Walking and running in the Tannheimer Tal is not only the best training for the body but above
all balm for the soul. The starting points for all those hungry for movement are located in the six villages Tannheim, Grän- Haldensee, Nesselwängle- Haller, Zöblen,
Schattwald and Jungholz.Directions:
Head west past the Hotel Engel and at the next crossroads turn right heading north. Cross the bridge on the left and continue north. At the first junction turn left heading west, then right heading north with a slight ascent. Follow the path east to the entrance of the "Vaterunser-Weg" which continues west. At the junction turn left down a longer descent until just before the district of Innergschwend. Keep left there
and follow the signs east back to the starting point.
Very meditative, enjoy it
Safety guidelines:It should be noted that running and walking sports carry a risk of accidents and injuries. Despite careful route planning, a basic risk always remains. Preparation through endurance sports, appropriate technical training and further education as well as personal caution reduce the risk of accidents and hazards.
Equipment:Your personal equipment must be safe, functional and meet the respective technical standards. It is recommended that everyone inform themselves about the planned routes in specialist literature or on site. Complete equipment is strongly recommended even for experienced users!
Additional information:On the A7 motorway take the exit "Oy-Mittelberg" onto the B310 towards Wertach and then to Oberjoch. There follow the signs "Tannheimer Tal" B199 until you reach Zöblen.
