Information & interesting facts
The church of St. Joseph was built in 1793 and consecrated in 1795. The church was affected by fire in February 1832, but was completely rebuilt. The interior of the church is a hall with a lancet barrel vault. The ceiling frescoes were painted by Johann Kärle in 1887 and depict the Adoration of the Eucharist in the choir and the Adoration of the Magi in the nave, accompanied by scenes from the life of Joseph and the Holy Family. The stained glass windows in the chancel date from 1889, while the figures of Sebastian to the left of the altar and Isidore to the right were made around 1850. The Stations of the Cross were made around 1820. In the vestibule there is a scourge column Christ by Johann Sigismund Hitzelberger, 1760.
