Description:

Compared to other winter sports, snowshoe hiking can be learned very easily and in the shortest time. Those who want to embark on a wild romantic discovery journey, away from the described snowshoe routes, are best accompanied by a local mountain and hiking guide who knows the most charming places along the way.

Directions:
The parking lot P3 is located by the underpass in Tannheim. Before putting on the snowshoes, we walk through the district Berg, heading towards Einstein, then following the signs towards "Lohmoos." From there we leave the cleared winter hiking trail and ascend moderately in switchbacks with snowshoes over a pasture area through the beautiful winter landscape to the small high plateau Lohmoos. At the fork in the road, we follow the path towards the Gasthof Zugspitzblick. Once there, the snowshoe hike ends. The descent to Zöblen to the village square leads along the road. There is a bus stop.Tip:
Enjoy the wonderful nature, the peace, and the view.Safety guidelines:

It should be noted that there is an increased risk of accidents and injuries even during snowshoe hiking. Special attention should be paid to the snow surface and avalanche danger. Suitable clothing, good footwear (hiking boots), and hiking poles provide additional safety. Stay on the marked trails.

Equipment:

Modern and well-maintained equipment (snowshoes, mountain or hiking boots, poles, warm, functional, and waterproof clothing, possibly gaiters) not only provides a considerable level of safety but also makes snowshoe hiking much easier. Sunscreen (high protection factor and possibly sunglasses) as well as enough fluids should not be forgotten.
