Ski school

Ice skating under the open sky with fresh winter air – a winter experience for young and old alike! Winter fun on skates begins at the car park by the tourist information office (Vilsalpseestraße 1) right next to the Expo – with fun, music and winter atmosphere for young and old alike! Skate hire including helmet costs €6.
On Friday, it is open from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. – with a party starting at 5:00 p.m.,
music from the boombox and delicious food provided by the Krampusverein.
Admission is free from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and skate rental costs €5. On Saturday and Sunday, the rink is open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for some fun gliding – perfect winter moments in the heart of Tannheim! -
EXPO and town centre
Visitors can look forward to the Winter Opening Expo at the car park by the tourist information office (Vilsalpseestraße 1) – featuring exciting brands, great promotions and special offers.
Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Pop Eyes, Outdooractive, Mico and MayerSports will be there to present their latest products and trends. There will also be a drinks truck serving Glühgin from Gasthaus Vilsalpsee, among other things.
The big raffle with high-quality prizes will provide plenty of excitement: an exclusive day spa at the Hotel ...liebes Rot Flüh, a day spa for two, a Tyrolean evening for two at Via Salina, two nights' accommodation for two at the Käserstube, a ski outfit from MayerSports and, of course, lots of other prizes from our partners (Gasthof Enzian, HEAD Snowboard, SnowlineSpikes, ContourSkin, TUBBS, Ortovox, HWK, BCA, Ziener, Wesora, ElanSkis, Pop Eyes, FischerSports).
In addition, the shops in the village are open and invite you to browse, and if you want to be well equipped for winter trails, you can hire Snowline Spikes and Leki hiking poles from Schuhstadl. - Culinary delights in the land of indulgence
Under the motto ‘Genussland Europaregion Tirol’ (Tyrol European Region Land of Indulgence), we will be treating you to regional delicacies and specialities from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. opposite Expo | Eislaufplatz. From bacon, cheese and fine delicacies to natural products, souvenirs and gift ideas – everything from North, South and East Tyrol as well as Trentino.
Our outdoor bar offers hot and cold drinks, with and without alcohol, as well as small treats – perfect for warming up and enjoying. - Torchlight hike on Neunerköpfle
A special evening at the highest altitude: the mountain railway takes you up to Neunerköpfle at 4:00 p.m., where the atmospheric torchlight hike through the silent winter landscape begins at 5:00 p.m. Surrounded by sparkling peaks and clear mountain air, participants enjoy inspiring moments and views far into the valley.

The hike starts at 4:45 p.m. at the Schmieden barrier. Accompanied by a hiking guide, we will walk through the winter forest to Lake Vilsalpsee with torches – a little surprise awaits us along the way. From 5:45 p.m., we can enjoy a hearty snack with live music at the inn (optional). Afterwards, you can visit the Christmas market.

When Lake Vilsalp is reflected in the glow of lights and the scent of mulled wine and freshly baked delicacies fills the winter air, one of the most romantic Christmas markets in the region opens its doors.
Against the dreamlike backdrop of snow-covered mountains, festively decorated stalls invite you to linger, enjoy and marvel – with regional delicacies, warming drinks and lovingly crafted gift ideas.
From the car park at the Tourist Information Office in Tannheim (Vilsalpseestraße 1), you can easily reach Lake Vilsalpsee by taking the Alpenexpress or going for a leisurely winter walk.
