The colorful hot air balloons delight spectators until they disappear into the horizon. The flight depends on the weather and wind; in good conditions, panoramic flights to the Allgäu, over Neuschwanstein Castle or across the Alps are possible.
Many people dream of seeing the landscape from the air.
At the International Balloon Festival, this dream comes true when passengers take to the skies with the pilots.
The day before the trip, interested parties should call Rudi Höfer's organization team to clarify the weather situation and the organization of the trip.
On the day of the flight, people meet at the launch site at 10:30 a.m., where the passengers are assigned to the pilots. The basket with burner and instruments is then set up and the balloon is made ready for take-off. After landing, the balloon is packed up and stowed in the trailer of the chase vehicle.
