In Grän at the mountain station

To mark the end of the alpine summer, on September 27, 2026, alpine herders and shepherds from the Tannheimer Tal and surrounding regions will gather for the traditional “Älplerletze” at the Füssener Jöchle. Together, visitors, alpine herders, and shepherds will bring the alpine summer to a close in a convivial atmosphere.

11:00 a.m.: Mountain Mass with Father Boguslav Duda, accompanied by music from about 50 alphorn players from the Euregio Alphorn Group Via Salina and the Five Villages Bell Ringers’ Club from Switzerland

1:00 p.m.: Entertainment by Sisi & Friends and the alphorn players at the Sonnenalm mountain restaurant

3:00 p.m.: Raffle for cowbells for the herdsmen, conducted by Fabian Höß from the Allgäu Alpine Farming Association
Musical accompaniment by all the alphorn players
