Properties:
  • Loop
Description:
The tour begins at the architecturally unique Nature Park House in Elmen. It leads above the valley floor past a wildlife feeding area to Forchach. After a short stretch of main road, you reach the new suspension bridge along the cozy village street. This new structure replaces the old wooden suspension bridge (built in 1906) and offers a barrier-free crossing over the "last wild one." The return route proceeds without major climbs along the Lech River, past colorful blooming meadows through shaded forests and pristine Lech floodplains.Safety guidelines:

  • Always drive at a controlled speed and within half sight, especially around curves, as obstacles may appear at any time!

  • Be considerate of hikers and pedestrians and only overtake at walking speed!

  • Take into account the difficulty level of the route and accurately assess your experience and skills as a biker! Protect your head with a helmet and check your equipment before starting each bike tour (brakes, bell, light)!

  • Keep to barriers and accept that this path primarily serves agricultural and forestry use! Close the pasture gates!

  • Respect nature and wildlife, do not leave the marked route, refrain from riding off the open paths, and finish your bike tour before dusk. Leave no waste behind!
