The route can be mastered on the well-marked hiking trails without major technical difficulties.Directions:
If you arrive by bus, the tour starts at the bus stop in the Höfen area (district of Reutte). From there it goes approx. 1 km on an asphalt road up to the valley station of the Reuttener Bergbahnen. Afterwards the ascent with the Reuttener cable car to the top station. Starting from the top station, a visit to the Alpine Flower Garden (no longer supervised) and the Alpine Barefoot Trail, as well as the take-off point for paragliders and hang-gliders is recommended. On the Alpenrosenweg we continue to the Lechaschauer Alm (overnight accommodation), followed by a short ascent to the Tiefjoch. The descent is via the Schneetalalm (overnight accommodation) to the village of Nesselwängle (bus stop).Tip:
Enjoy hearty meals, refreshing drinks and home-made cakes on the sun terrace of the Lechauschauer Alm. The little guests can let off steam at the playground.Safety guidelines:
It should be noted that mountaineering may involve an increased risk of accidents and injuries. Despite careful route planning, a basic risk always remains. Tour preparation through endurance sports, appropriate technical training and further education as well as personal prudence reduces the risk of accidents and injuries. But please never forget that the weather in the mountains can change very quickly. Stay on the marked hiking trails.

Take the A7 motorway to Füssen, follow the B179 through the border tunnel to Reutte/Tyrol, exit onto the B198 and turn right in the Höfen area towards the Hahnenkammbahn lift to the valley station.Public Transit
