Description:
A splendid route through the neighboring Allgäu, enjoy the stunning scenery around the Tannheimer Tal. Along the entire route you will find countless places to stop and wonderful spots to rest.Directions:
Start at the Tourist Information in Tannheim heading east. At the Grän/Haldensee junction turn left onto the L261 and go through the Engetal to the former customs office Fallmühle down to Pfronten. At the entrance to Pfronten turn left and follow the road to Pfronten-Ried. At the junction turn left. After a 90-degree left curve, turn right towards Füssen. At the roundabout turn right and follow the road to Weißensee. At the end of town turn left and go via Schwarzenbach and Hopferried to Hopferau. Continue to Hopfen am See, at the end of town turn left and after 200 meters turn right (right by the church) towards Füssen. At the B16 junction turn left towards Marktoberdorf and join the bike path parallel to the road. Follow the bike path to Roßhaupten, keep right there and continue along the Forgensee to Bayerniederhofen. At the end of town, after a short descent, turn right to join the bike path, past Bannwaldsee and through Brunnen and Waltenhofen towards Horn. There, join the B17, turn left before the Lech bridge to Vils and continue towards Pfronten. In Pfronten Steinach turn left after the church towards the Tannheimer Tal through the Engetal on the L261 to Grän. At the Grän/Haldensee junction turn right to Tannheim to the starting point.Safety guidelines:

It should be noted that road cycling carries an increased risk of accidents and injuries. Despite careful route planning, a basic risk always remains. Preparing for the route through endurance training, appropriate training and further education as well as personal caution reduces the risk of accidents and hazards.

Personal equipment must be safe and functional, meeting the respective technical standards. Every road cyclist is recommended to inform themselves about the planned routes through specialist literature or on site.

Getting there
On the A7 motorway, take the "Oy-Mittelberg" exit onto the B310 towards Wertach and then Oberjoch. Follow the signposts for "Tannheimer Tal" B199, exit Tannheim.
From the Tyrol side via Reutte on the B198 towards Lechtal to Weißenbach, along the Gaichtpass on the B199 to the exit Tannheim.
Public Transit
Train stations in Germany are: Sonthofen (24 km, bus transfer) Pfronten/Ried (16 km, bus transfer) and in Austria at Reutte (24 km with bus connection).

Parking at the Neunerköpfle gondola lift in Tannheim – fee required.
