Beautiful summit route to the Lachenspitze. Pure nature in the truest sense of the word. Three clear mountain lakes, magnificent views, wonderful summits as far as the eye can see, and the natural jewel Vilsalpsee. Scattered along the whole route are some refreshment options. Delicious Tyrolean specialties reward this route.Directions:
From Gasthaus Vilsalpsee we walk a few meters along the east shore. Up to the Lower Traualpe (not managed) where the hiking trail begins towards Traualpe/Landsberger Hut. The path winds upwards in switchbacks; we cross a small brook several times until we reach the Traualpe. Along the beautiful Traualpsee it goes back until the ascent to the Landsberger Hut awaits us. Upon reaching the Landsberger Hut, we keep left and follow the signs to the summit. We descend on the other side towards Lachenjoch. Then further to the Landsberger Hut and back to the starting point.
Tip:Enjoy the view of 3 lakes from the summit of the LachenspitzeSafety guidelines:
It should be noted that mountaineering can involve an increased risk of accidents and injuries. Despite careful route planning, a basic risk always remains. But never forget that the weather in the mountains can change very quickly. Stay on the marked hiking trails.Equipment:
Personal mountaineering equipment must be safe, functional, and comply with the current technical standards. Every hiker is advised to inform themselves about the planned routes in alpine specialist literature or locally.
