Experience the Running and Nordic Walking Arena Tannheimer Tal
Whether you are a breathless beginner or a well-trained mountain athlete: In the Tannheimer Tal, everyone who wants to move in the fresh air and explore the surrounding mountains on foot gets their money's worth. Every day, from amateur athletes to professionals, all active people face the delight of choice: Tyrol’s largest network of paths offers 26 marked routes, extending over a total of 186 kilometers. There are beginner loops as well as demanding mountain runs. And to ensure that all guests know which path suits their fitness and expectations, a specially developed map and small signs provide information about the elevation profile, difficulty level, and length of the route – the Running and Nordic Walking map.
Along meadows, over green alpine pastures, by sparkling mountain lakes... Walking and running in the Tannheimer Tal is not only the best training for the body but also balm for the soul. The starting points for all exercise enthusiasts are located in the six towns of Tannheim, Grän-Haldensee, Nesselwängle-Haller, Zöblen, Schattwald, and Jungholz.Directions:
Head north and cross the federal road at the zebra crossing. Pass the Kneipp facility and continue to the underpass, where the path turns right beforehand. Climb up to the parking lot of the lift facilities and turn left. Shortly, the Logbach will be reached, follow it to the intersection. Turn left at the old football field, along the federal road to the bridge. Cross the federal road there and behind the sawmill head east behind the Haldensee district until shortly before the lake. Turn left and head north back to the starting point.
Tip:Plenty of dining options along the route.
Safety guidelines:It should be noted that there is a risk of accidents and injuries in running and walking sports. Despite careful route planning, a basic risk always remains. Preparing for the routes through endurance sports, appropriate technical training and further education as well as personal prudence reduces the risk of accidents and hazards.
Equipment:Personal equipment must be safe and functional and comply with the respective technical standard. It is recommended that everyone inform themselves about the planned routes in specialist literature or locally. Complete equipment is definitely recommended even for experienced users!
