You can enjoy a hike (of medium difficulty) on the marked trails with sturdy footwear. The inspiration and variety of nature and landscape is beautiful. There are many sights to discover. On the way up to the summit, there are various places to stop for refreshments (some only 100 meters off the designated route). After around 2 hours, you will reach the end of the hike, the Edelsberg summit. From there, you can enjoy a view of the vast Allgäu landscape.
Directions:First on Ashpalt trails leading from Jungholz church in the direction of Langenschwand and Stubentalalpe. Turn off in the direction of Nesselwang/Edelsberg. From there, follow the precise signposting.
Tip:Save the tour offline. Enjoy the view from the summit.
Safety guidelines:The trail leads partly along a path, without any crossing options.
Equipment:Sturdy shoes and hiking clothing are required.
Option 1: Exit A 7 Oy- Mittelberg, take the B310 towards Wertach, Jungholz exit left. Very good signposting
Variant 2: Accessible via B310 Oberjoch- Unterjoch - exit Pfeiffermühle/Jungholz
Public Transit
The bus operator "Komm Mit" runs daily to Jungholz from several directions and locations.
The Jungholz bus stop is around 150 meters from the starting point
Parking
The Jungholz ski lift parking lot is free of charge all year round. The capacity is around 300 vehicles.
The parking lot is around 50 meters from the starting point (church).
