On the marked paths, a hike (medium difficulty) can be enjoyed with sturdy footwear. The inspiration and variety of nature and landscape are beautiful. Many sights can be discovered. On the way up to the summit, there are various refreshment options (sometimes only 100 meters off the designated route). After about 2 hours, you reach the destination of the hike, the Edelsberg summit. From there, you can enjoy a view of the wide landscape of the Allgäu.
Directions:First on paved paths leading from the Jungholz church towards Langenschwand and Stubentalalpe. The turn-off is in the direction of Nesselwang/Edelsberg. From there, follow the most precise signage.
Tip:Save route offline. Enjoy the view from the summit.
Safety guidelines:The path partially runs over a trail, with no detour options.
Equipment:Sturdy footwear and hiking clothing are required.
Option 1: Exit A 7 Oy-Mittelberg, take B310 towards Wertach, turn left at Jungholz exit. Very good signage.
Option 2: Accessible via B310 Oberjoch-Unterjoch - exit Pfeiffermühle/Jungholz
Public Transit
Daily, the bus operator "Komm Mit" serves Jungholz from several directions and locations.
The Jungholz bus stop is about 150 meters from the starting point.
Parking
The Jungholz ski lift parking lot is free all year round. It has a capacity of about 300 vehicles.
The parking lot is about 50 meters from the starting point (church).
