Experience the Running and Nordic Walking Arena Tannheimer Tal 
Whether breathless beginner or well-trained mountaineer: In the Tannheimer Tal, everyone gets their money’s worth who enjoys fresh air and wants to explore
the surrounding mountains on foot. Every day, from hobby athlete to professional, all active people face the choice: The largest trail network in Tyrol offers 26 marked routes spanning a total of 186 kilometers. Beginner loops as well as demanding mountain runs are included. And so that all guests know which path matches their fitness and requirements, a specially developed map and small signs provide information about elevation profile,
difficulty level and route length – the Running and Nordic Walking map.
Along meadows, over green alpine pastures, by sparkling mountain lakes… Walking and running in the Tannheimer Tal is not only the best training for the body but above all balm for the soul. The starting points for all those eager to move are in the six villages Tannheim, Grän, Haldensee, Nesselwängle, Haller, Zöblen, Schattwald and Jungholz.Directions:

Head north and turn right at the church, follow Schnitzerweg to the district of Langenschwand. Cross the street at the chapel and continue along the
Panoramaweg, past the Kneipp facility and the moor pond, on to the district of Giessenschwand. Stay on the street towards the town center. Turn left at the junction with Dorfstraße, turn right at the church and return to the starting point.

It should be noted that there is a risk of accidents and injuries in running and walking sports. Despite careful route planning, a basic risk always remains. Preparation for routes through endurance training, appropriate technical training and education, as well as personal caution, reduces the risk of accidents and hazards.

Personal equipment must be safe, functional and meet current technical standards. It is recommended that everyone consult specialist literature or local sources about planned routes. Full equipment is absolutely recommended even for experienced users!

Getting there
On the A7 motorway take the "Oy-Mittelberg" exit onto the B310 towards Wertach and continue to Jungholz. From the Tyrol side via Reutte on the B198 towards Lechtal to Weißenbach, over the Gaichtpass along the B199 to Oberjoch and then on to Jungholz.
Public Transit
By train to Sonthofen, Pfronten/Ried or Reutte, continue by bus to the Tannheimer Tal and via Oberjoch to Jungholz.
