Short description:
On Sunday, 5 July 2026, participants will cover around 870 metres of elevation gain on the 138-kilometre route. The start and finish are in the Tannheimer Valley, right in the centre of Tannheim. From there, the route leads over the Oberjoch to Unterjoch and back to the Tannheimer Valley. Then it's downhill at the Gaicht Pass to Weißenbach and on through the Schwarzwasser Valley to Elmen. Here, the route continues along the Lech River to Holzgau, where the turning point of this tour awaits. From there, the route leads slightly downhill back to Weißenbach. For the last 16 kilometres back to the starting point in Tannheim, the Gaicht Pass with its 220 metres of elevation gain awaits.

The CYCLING MARATHON Tannheimer Tal has had a new route for the shorter distances since 2024.

Unlike the usual route since 2009, which leads via Grän to Pfronten and into the Lech Valley, we now remain in the Tyrolean high valley for the first 40 kilometres.
