General

starjack is an Austrian online booking platform specializing in mountain railways and ski resorts. It allows you to purchase ski passes and tickets for our cable cars quickly and easily online, without having to queue at the ticket offices on site. 

All Tannheimertal mountain railway tickets are sold exclusively via starjack at tannheimertal.com/shop. To use this service, you need to register for free with a valid email address, Facebook account, or Google account.

All tickets and ski passes for the current season are available in the online shop, as well as vouchers, event tickets, and Tannheimer Valley gifts.

  • iDeal (online banking for Dutch customers)
  • Apple Pay (only for iOS devices with Safari browser)

Your purchase data will be stored by starjack and passed on to us (Tannheimer Tal Tourism Association) for statistical and legal reasons. 
If you have given your express consent, your data will also be used for marketing purposes.

Ski passes & tickets

Tickets are always valid on the day selected during booking or during the period selected during booking.

The first day of validity for season tickets and annual passes can be freely selected during the ordering process within the period of validity.

Shipping & Delivery

Once the purchase process has been successfully completed, you will receive an order confirmation by email. The ski pass will be sent to you by mail in the form of a KeyCard.

Yes, you can recharge KeyCards that you already have at home. This works for ski passes, mountain bike tickets, and season and annual passes.

KeyCards that you have already purchased or entered are stored and saved in your starjack account. 

The starjack KeyCard costs EUR 5.90 incl. VAT for production and shipping to Austria and Germany.
For all other EU countries, including Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and the United Kingdom, the KeyCard costs EUR 5.90 incl. VAT plus EUR 0.50 shipping costs.

Delivery time: The starjack KeyCard is shipped from Austria every working day (except public holidays). Delivery within Austria takes 2–4 business days, while delivery within Europe varies slightly and takes 4–7 business days.

Refunds & Cancellations

As a general rule, online ticket purchases cannot be rebooked or canceled.

However, under the following two circumstances, starjack can reverse your ticket purchase and credit the ticket value to your starjack account so that you can make a new booking:

  • If you cancel within one hour of placing your ticket booking (e.g., for season tickets, as these are usually not valid immediately)
  • You can return your ticket in your starjack account in the “My Tickets” menu until 8:00 a.m. on the first day of validity of your booked ticket.

After successful cancellation, you will automatically receive 100% of the ticket value as ticket credit in your starjack account. The credit will automatically be used as a payment method for your next order.

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets purchased in our Tannheimer Tal online shop can only be canceled with us, and the credit can only be redeemed in our online shop.

For a chargeback of the amount to a credit card or bank account, starjack will charge a fee of EUR 5.00 per sales transaction under EUR 100.00 and EUR 25.00 per sales transaction over EUR 100.00, without exception.
