Running, Walking & Trailrun

With sticks or running shoes: Running in the Tannheimer Tal

The most beautiful tours in the fascinating Tyrolean mountain world

Fast step to the northern shore of the Vilsalp lake in the nature reserve of the same name. Around the 1,635 metre high Sorgschrofen, on whose summit runs the border between Germany and Austria. Or relax on the Tannheimer Höhenweg circuit: the Tannheimer Tal offers 26 attractive routes with a total length of 186 kilometres. They lead through attractive landscapes and, depending on your fitness level, are suitable for beginners and/or advanced skiers.

Kurze Pause bei der Walking Tour

This is how trail running is fun

Trailrunnig is the perfect complement to cross-country skiing and skiing in winter and hiking, mountaineering and cycling in summer for the Tannheimer Tal. Trail running is ideal for people who want to take the next step in their sporting development as hikers, Nordic walkers or street runners. The Tyrolean high valley at an altitude of 1,100 metres is ideal for this because runners only have short distances to single trails and into the terrain and can save themselves longer sections on asphalt. At the Traildays with LEKI expert Peter Schlickenrieder there will be workshops on topics such as analogue and digital orientation, training, nutrition and running and pole technology.
