Short description:
Down from the valley the Litnisschrofen (2068m) is almost not visible.  Seen from surrounding peaks such as the Krinnespitze or the Neunerköpfle, the isolated standing one with its distinctive Schrofen wall catches the eye.

Description:
Anspruchsvolle Tour, Absturzgefahr - erfordert absolute Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit.

Directions:

Vom Seeparkplatz bzw. der Bushaltestelle Haldensee geht es vorbei an Tauscher´s Alm und äußerst rechts den Forstweg verlaufend ins Strindental. Dieser geht nach ca. 30 Gehminuten in einen Pfad über. Kurz unterhalb der Gräner Ödenalpe verläuft die Strecke wieder entlang eines Forstwegs.  Dieser zweigt auf Höhe der Gräner Ödenalpe vom Fahrweg ab, verläuft über Hänge und zwischen Latschen aufwärts unterhalb den Felsen Richtung Gipfelkreuz empor. Der letzte Abschnitt führt über steiles, felsiges, mit Drahtseilsicherung versehenes Gelände. Hier ist absolute Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit erforderlich. Auf dem Gipfel angelangt wird man mit einem fantastischen Ausblick auf das umliegende Bergpanorama belohnt.


 


Abstiegsmöglichkeit (Variante): Gräner Ödenalpe - Nesselwänger Edenalpe - über den Alpenrosenweg zur Krinnenalpe - mit dem Krinnenalplift (Sessellift) von der Bergstation zur Talstation oder den kompletten Abstieg zu Fuß.

Besonderes Highlight: zur Zeit der Alpenrosenblüte, zwischen Juni und August!

Getting there
On the motorway A7 at the exit "Oy-Mittelberg" on the B310 towards Wertach and to Oberjoch. There follow the signposting "Tannheimer Tal" B199 until Haldensee. From the Tyrolean side via Reutte on the B198 towards Lechtal until Weißenbach, over the Gaichtpass along the B199 until Haldensee.

Public Transit
By train to Sonthofen, Pfronten/Ried or Reutte, then by bus to Grän/Haldensee.
