Description:
Those who want to enjoy peace, quiet, nature and landscape are in good hands on this summit tour. On well-signposted hiking trails, we cross national borders to reach a far-reaching vantage point and at the same time the summit of the Kühgundspitze in the midst of Tyrolean nature. Here, the landscape, culture and tradition of the surrounding villages can be enjoyed.
Directions:
From Jungholzer Tourist Information we start in the direction of Jungholzer Skilifte. After about 300 metres, we turn left onto the forest path towards Hinterer Sorgalpe. Past the Sorgalpe, we continue walking in the direction of Unterjoch. In the middle of the village, past the chapel, we walk upwards in the direction of Krummenbach Kappele to Hintere Wiedhag Alpe. From there we continue towards the Wiedhag (summit). On the way there, we pass the Grenzwieslift and continue to follow the path to the Wiedhag. Continue on the signposted hiking trail to the Kühgund Ridge (viewpoint/summit. This forms the last branch point until we arrive at our destination, the Kühgundspitze, after continuing along the trail.

Getting there
Variant 1: Exit A 7 Oy- Mittelberg, on B310 direction Wertach, Jungholz take exit left. Very good signposting
Variant 2: Accessible via B310 Oberjoch- Unterjoch - exit Pfeiffermühle/Jungholz

Daily, the bus line operator "Komm Mit" drives to Jungholz from several sides and locations.
Bus stop Jungholz is about 150 metres from the starting point
.Parking
The Jungholz ski lift car park is free of charge all year round. The capacity is around 300 vehicles.
The car park is also the starting point of the tour.
