The cycle path Tannheimer Tal leads along a scenic and varied 20 km long stretch from Nesselwängle to Schattwald and is signposted with green signs. Here you cycle on asphalt paths, except along the Haldensee (southern shore and promenade path). The course off the main roads on agricultural and forestry goods roads allows for easy cycling, while at the same time special caution is required when crossing main roads and consideration for pedestrians is requested. From Haldensee to Schattwald, the route has a barely noticeable gradient of 50 m, and there are no major or long gradients to negotiate.
