Description:
Fantastic mountain tour. Magnificent impressions and views give this round tour a wonderful touch. The tour can be extended either to the Gaishorn or to the Rohnenspitze.

Directions:
Starting from Zöblen-Katzensteig we hike southwards. After the last houses we slowly walk a little bit upwards. The Pontental begins. We follow the path further. Slowly but steadily we cover some meters of altitude. After the timberline we gradually reach the ridge. Here you have the possibility to hike to the Rohnenspitze or the Ponten. We keep to the right, pass the mountain rescue hut and after a short time we reach Zirleseck. Here you can enjoy the wonderful view of the surrounding mountain peaks. We descend to the alpine pasture Älpele. After a short rest and a delicious snack, we continue downhill. Shortly before the first houses we keep left and walk on the high trail back to the starting point in Zöblen.

Tip:
Enjoy a delicious snack in the alpine pasture Älpele.

Safety guidelines:
It should be noted that in mountaineering there is an increased risk of accidents and injuries. Despite careful route planning, a basic risk always remains. Tour preparation through endurance sports, appropriate technical training and further education as well as personal prudence reduces the danger of accidents and risks. However, please never forget that the weather in the mountains can change very quickly. Stay on the marked hiking trails.

Equipment:
The personal mountaineering equipment must be safe and serviceable and meet the relevant technical standards. Every hiker is recommended to obtain information about the planned tours from specialist alpine literature or on site.
