Easily swing into the ski resorts in the Tannheim Valley

Get into winter, get on the slopes

It can not go fast enough for serious alpine skiing fanatics. All the better that in the Tannheim Valley, the trip between the total of six ski resorts is short. This leaves a lot of time for the essentials: the sun-drenched slopes, fantastic snow conditions and exciting descents with lots of momentum in the Tannheim Valley in Tyrol.

Borderless Skiing
For all skiers who have a little more time, the Tannheim Valley is a perfect starting point for a cross-border ski safari. The two combined ski passes are an inexpensive way to indulge one‘s passion for almost limitless skiing in various ski areas in Tyrol and the neighboring Allgäu. The "Superschnee" lift pass serves as a ticket for a total of 500 kilometers of slopes, 35 gondolas and 200 ski lifts in eight of the most beautiful ski areas of Tyrol, the Kleinwalsertal and the neighboring Allgäu. The lift pass "Vitales Land" is gateway to 70 cable cars and lifts in some of the most popular ski areas in the northern Tyrol and eastern Allgäu. Our six ski resorts in the Tannheim Valley are included in both of these lift passes.

One pass for 20 lifts and mountain cable cars 


The Tannheim Valley is considered a first-rate location in the mountains. Many day visitors from neighboring Allgäu and especially from southern Germany to come to the Tannheim Valley to enjoy the varied slopes. Skiing in hourly intervals – lift tickets that allow from two to five hours of skiing. In the Tannheim Valley, skiers and snowboarders will find everything their "winter heart" craves for. You will find easy-going family slopes, themed childrens‘ ski slopes, steep slopes and even a FIS circuit. Six ski schools with about 100 certified ski and snowboard instructors, as well as beloved cross-country skiing in classic style and skating, cover all teaching needs. For winter walkers, it is worth a visit to a mountain summit - the beautiful view and the groomed winter hiking trails guarantee pure joie de vivre.

Jungholz Ski Resort

The Jungholz ski resort may not be able to compete with internationally renowned ski resorts in their size, but it certainly can in its dozen diverse, easy to intermediate ski slopes, all perfectly groomed, and the four tow lifts and two child-safe quad chairlifts guarantee a wide-ranging skiing experience. This has also been confirmed by "". The internet platform awards the best ski resorts in Austria with up to 20 kilometers of slopes. Jungholz is among them. The jury’s verdict: "The Jungholz skiing area is special already because of its location. The Tyrolean ski resort is located in an enclave in the Allgäu. In sum there are 10 km of blue and red level runs to explore. Whoever needs a break can recover on the two sunny island-rest havens.
