Evs25 Allgäu Alps Tourism Monitor

The official statistics in the field of tourism in Austria and Germany offer too little insight for tourism destinations: For example, only arrivals and overnight stays of 10 beds or more are surveyed, or comparability through star classification is difficult. Within the framework of the project, an online monitoring system is to be conceptually developed in which the previous data gaps are closed and detailed information is obtained that is important for strategic development and marketing. Thus, a better comparability and usability of the figures, data and facts will be achieved, which will be supplemented by background information from the DACH countries. In addition, a better assessment of the own performance in the three destinations can be made possible. The project is set up to build up year-long time series and is thus to be seen in the long term.
