The Haldensee at 1.124 m above sea level is with 72 ha and a depth of 22 m the largest lake in the Tannheimer Tal. An excellent pike and whitefish lake, every year with enormous catches, in a beautiful location in the middle of the valley. June is the main season for whitefish fishing. The lake has drinking water quality.

Stocking:
Mainly pike and whitefish, but also perch, "Rotaugen", carp, tench and aitel (chub)

Allowed baits:
Fishes that are alive are FORBIDDEN as bait!

Permitted withdrawal per day:
3 pike, minimum size 60 cm, whitefish 22-29 cm (landing obligation), over 30 cm 3 pieces,
1 carp with minimum size 35 cm or 1 tench with minimum size 30 cm
