Fish water Vilsalpsee

A beautiful alpine lake at 1.168 m above sea level in the nature reserve with natural scenery. Not easy to fish – but an experience. The fisherman is challenged to prove his skills. The lake has drinking water quality.

Provisions:
Fishing is not allowed in the area of the bridge, from the jetty and down the lake outlet
( = spawning protection zone)!
 
Stocking:
Brook trout, rainbow trout, lake trout, char, perch, whitefish

Allowed baits:
Blinker, flies, minnows and hegene
Fishes that are alive are PROHIBITED as bait!
Bait fish not originating from the Vilsalpsee are not allowed!

Permitted withdrawal per day:
4 fish per day,
Minimum sizes: rainbow trout 30 cm, char 28 cm, brook trout and lake trout 50 cm

Restriction of catches:
Char max. 2 pieces per day
"Rotfedern", "Rotaugen" and perch must be removed.

Heaviest catch:
Lake trout 17.50 kg

Foreign boats are prohibited. Rental boats of the fishing association.

People authorised to fish are exempted from the current driving ban (8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.).
