Whether an enjoyable, lazy day of swimming at the lake, a welcome refreshment stop during a sweaty mountain or bike tour or sporting activities in and on the water. One thing is always the same: the steel-blue sky with the impressive mountain panorama, the fresh, healthy mountain air in your nose and the crystal-clear water that almost magically attracts you. The Vilsalpsee, which is one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Tyrol, is located in the middle of the nature reserve of the same name.
Swimming there is allowed and free of charge, although the water temperature usually does not reach more than 17 degrees.
