The Maria-Hilf chapel in Nesselwängle near the district of Rauth

This picturesque chapel stands somewhat elevated at the fork in the road to Rauth. It is privately owned by the Bilgeri family. This chapel is still very often visited by believers seeking comfort and help. Prayer room with bell ridge turret, painting Maria mit Kind by Melchior Paul von Deschwanden, 1874.

Accessibility / arrival

On the freeway A7 at the exit "Oy-Mittelberg" on the B310 direction Wertach and to Oberjoch. There follow the signs "Tannheimer Tal" B199 until Rauth. From the Tyrolean side via Reutte on the B198 direction Lechtal to Weißenbach, over the Gaichtpass along the B199 to Rauth.
