St. John Baptist Chapel in Haller

Directly on the street built around 1736/37. The high altar of 1641 was donated by the residents of the fraction Haller. The pictures Mary with Child, John of Nepomuk and John the Baptist were restored in 1958 by Toni Kirchmayr - Innsbruck. The statue of St. Sebastian from 1640 stands on the old early Baroque altar. Pietà by Anton Santifaller, Merano. The painting in the prayer room of the Holy Family with John the Baptist and Apollonia dates from 1780.

Accessibility / arrival

On the freeway A7 at the exit "Oy-Mittelberg" on the B310 direction Wertach and to Oberjoch. There follow the signs "Tannheimer Tal" B199 until Haldensee. From the Tyrolean side via Reutte on the B198 direction Lechtal to Weißenbach, over the Gaichtpass along the B199 to Haldensee.
