Four Cable Cars, Included Every Day

In order for guests to decide "where to go and what to do today" with more flexibility, select valley hosts and lodging have joined in a partnership with the cable cars and the swimming area "Wasserwelt Haldensee" and created the ticket called "Sommerbergbahnen inklusive". Throughout their stay in the valley, guests with this card can use any of the four cable cars/chairlifts once a day (1x ascent and/or descent) - and have daily unlimited access to the outdoor pool in Haldensee. And so that no precious holiday time is lost in a queue, these tickets are activated immediately. That means – go directly to the turnstile, hop into the cable car, and up you go to the top of the mountain!

Because up there, there is a lot to see and experience. Above Nesselwängle for example, the "Three-Hut Tour" awaits. This involves – and dining is available en route – passing by three mountain huts: the Gräner Ödenalp, the Nesselwängle Edenalpe and the Krinnenalpe. A route whose grandiose panoramic views captures the eye and calls for a repeat visit.

The "9erlebnisweg" on the other hand, which starts at the gondola summit station above Tannheim, brings the diverse nature, the unique mountain scenery and an unusual animal kingdom grippingly close. Twelve different stations during the two-hour hike add a lot of information to the experience. Not to be missed is writing an entry into the largest summit book of the Alps.

On the way from the Wannenjoch to the Iseler, hikers find themselves on the "Smuggler‘s Trail". Just getting off the chairlift, visitors immediately slip in to the role of smugglers or border guards in order to carry out certain "adventurous" tasks during their hike. They thereby move through the mountains, in which a few decades ago, goods were illegally taken across the border between Bavaria and Tyrol.

Because of its magnificent outlook, the Gamskopf is also a highly-esteemed destination. From the Füssener Jöchle mountain summit station, it is just a short walk there. A "Panorama Informator" makes orientation easy and gives the many peaks in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and - with good visibility - Italy their corresponding name. With the new Geo-Rundwanderweg (circular trail), further views and vistas are added.

Swimming with a panoramic view

To blanace out and reward oneself for a diligent hike, the „Wasserwelt Haldensee“ (Water World Haldensee) offers just the right thing - an attractive outdoor pool area, and that in an exceptionally special place. With a toddlers‘ basin, a non-swimming area with massage jets and waterfall, a lap pool and a 50-foot water slide as a special attraction, visitors can enjoy all-around bathing pleasure in its clear waters.
