Ascent to the Tannheimer Hütte from Nesselwängle via the Gimpelhaus to the beautifully situated Tannheimer Hütte.
The tour takes the shortest route from Nesselwängle via the Gimpelhaus to the Tannheimer Hütte. The trail leads from the parking lot past the village of Nesselwängle to the Gimpelhaus. Here you get your first view of the steep rock faces of the Tannheim mountains and also the new Tannheimer Hütte. The last few meters are a gentle ascent to the hut. 

The hut was completely rebuilt in 2024, but has retained its rustic character. From the hut terrace, a gigantic view of the Allgäu and Lechtal Alps opens up like a viewing pulpit.
