ℹ️ COVID-19 UPDATE
On Saturday 31.10 the Austrian Federal Government announced new measures to contain the Corona Pandemic.
The following measures will come into force from Tuesday, November 03 at 0:00 a.m. until November 30:
▪️ Exit restriction from 20 to 6 o'clock
▪️ Accommodation facilities closed: Opening only for business travelers
▪️ No consumption in catering establishments, collection (until 8 pm) and delivery remain permitted
▪️ Leisure & cultural facilities must close, events are not permitted
▪️ Individual and leisure sports only possible outdoors, contact sports & indoor sports are not allowed

Free test offer also for private room landlords
Since 02 November also persons from the private room letting can be tested free of charge to the existing promotion-entitled ones.
Important is the electronic application via the secure hospitality, the testing can then be done at Dr. Mauthner in Tannheim.

Is the journey allowed?
The German government advises against unnecessary tourist travel to high-risk areas. Accommodation facilities in Austria have to close, opening is only possible for business travelers. Persons, who are nevertheless in the Tannheimer valley can be tested on COVID-19, in order to avoid a home quarantine of 14 days. If no test is carried out, the home quarantine is obligatory.
Bavaria: New entry quarantine regulation valid from 09.11.2020
This is valid from 09.11.2020. In the future there will be a compulsory quarantine, which can be terminated with a negative test result after day 5 at the earliest. Also exceptions are again considered in the new regulation. In the future, there will be no quarantine obligation for a stay in a risk area of maximum 24 hours. Border traffic for Austrian citizens again possible
From 09.11.2020, border traffic for Austrian citizens will also be possible again. A stay of up to 24 hours in Bavaria is possible without quarantine. Entry to Bavaria for Tyroleans
Anyone who travels to Bavaria must expect to be checked at all times. Only for drifty reasons one may stay at present as Tiroler in our neighbouring country.

GERMANY - new measures concerning coronavirus
From 2.11.2020 until presumably 30 November 2020 the following measures were taken
- Nationwide prohibition of journeys and accommodations for touristic reasons
- Closure of all leisure facilities
- Professional sports events only without spectators
- Closure of catering establishments, delivery and collection of food possible
All Austrian provinces except Carinthia remain on the list of risk areas. Travellers from these provinces must present a negative COVID-19 test on entry into Germany, which must not be older than 48 hours or enter a mandatory 14-day quarantine.
